2018 Starts With A BANG!
Hello All!
Hope you all had a great time during your holidays. We here at LUMI Art Studios have been a bit busy. Personally I am still working on coloring and lettering The Adventures of Taxi Cab Joe. Currently working on Page 14. I am also awaiting for some lettering projects that will be coming to me soon.
I was also commissioned to color this awesome poster you see above. This poster is part of the rewards for a Kickstarter campaign that was hosted by Crazy Monkey Ink to promote and produce their newest comic book Fivestar issue #1. Therefore those who pledged, will receive a print of this awesome poster.
Did you happen to catch me coloring it live on Facebook? If you are following us on Facebook then you might have been able to catch me live streaming my Photoshop window. If you missed it, you can still check out the videos. Just go to:

Well I guess you have been asking yourself who are the characters on this awesome poster?
Starting from the top:
Fivestar - (Top) Character by Tony Klapper.
Darum Captain of the Stars - (Left) Charter by Jared Gifford.
Midnite's Avenger - (Center) Character by Gabriel Ol Raz
Mr. Happy - (Right) Character by Gabriel Ol Raz
Finally the art is by Luis Rivera and colors by yours truly Mike Montalvo.
Would like to mention that we will continue to work on Inner Beings issue #2. It is a slow process as I have been busy with commissions. There will soon be an announcement of another comic book project coming soon. I decided to dip into writing and I am almost done writing the script for a new comic book which will become a graphic novel. Once issue 1 script is done and I have a design for the characters I will make an announcement for it. So please keep checking back with us.
Are you looking for a Pencilist or Inker? If you are please don't hesitate to ask, as my partner Lubisan is currently available for commissions. You can either click on contact us at the top to ask for a quote, you can also message us on Facebook or email him directly @ lubisan@yahoo.com.
Thank you for dropping by,
Mike Montalvo
